About....
Lancaster Ceramic Art is run by Sarah Beresford. Sarah is a British artist working (mostly) in clay. Her practice is studio based and uses large-scale sculptural pieces inspired by feminism.
Sarah is interested in hand-built sculptural pieces and currently builds with white earthenware paper clay, because adding paper pulp to clay gives the sculpture added strength. Her current ambition is to create a lesbian sculpture garden. Ceramics is her second career choice.
